Swimsuits

We started taking Elle to swim lesson this past month and she loves it! I am so happy she does! We have a pool at our house, so learning to swim is not an option. Although, she is only 8 months old we felt that it was important to introduce her to the water. We are members of our local YMCA and they have classes for little babies like her. It’s been fun to get in the pool with her each week. Our lessons include a lot of singing, splashing and fun. Our lessons are easy-going and focus primarily on getting comfortable in the water. We are learning some basic swim skills, such as kicking and arm strokes. It is so fun to see how they teach those skills, by throwing a ball in front of the baby and having them reach for it, similar to a freestyle stroke.

Starting these lessons I needed a new swimsuit and found a few affordable and stylish ones on Amazon. I wanted something that would be comfortable and I could move in the water with Elle. I am still getting used to my new body, so I wanted a swimsuit that would cover me appropriately, but would also be cute.
