Hey there how ya doin! Wow have not done one of these posts since 2017… yikes. Look – I’m not blogger of the year over here. I’m just a girl standing in front of you with her laptop and some things to say! It’s finally Friday after what feels like one of the longest weeks ever and depending on where you are it may be snowing! Here in CT… were getting a little and I’m defiantly snuggling up and watching Gilmore Girls for the rest of the day!
Here are some things that have been on my radar recently…
ONE // Babysitters Club Season Two
I saw this over on Carly’s blog but I just had to share here! Babysitters Club will be back for a second season on Netflix! This show brought the much needed nostalgia and good feels I needed this summer! Did you watch?
TWO // Bad on Paper Podcast
I am always on the lookout for a new podcast. I found out quickly when I transitioned to working from home, that I do not like silence. Oddly, I missed that chatter of my office and the programs I worked in. Bad on Paper is hosted by Becca Freeman and Grace Atwood. They provide you with a weekly dose of books, banter, and folks you should be following.
THREE // Mass Journal
I discovered Every Sacred Sunday last year, but just placed my order for this years journal. This journal follows the liturgical year. With full mass reading and journal prompts it makes it easy to follow along during mass as well as underline, highlight, and annotate! This journal was a lifesaver for me when Church shut down in March. It kept me engaged during virtual mass!
FOUR // Utah Politicians United
The political ad we all need to see. With the final days of the election in sight I sure there is a mix of emotions across the country. These politicians from Utah campaigning for the opposite party got together for an ad to show hope that we all can work together. No matter our political views.
FIVE // The Times Crossword
Looking for more to stimulate my brain during Quarantine I came upon The Times Crossword app. I started doing the mini crossword daily… and stumbled my way through the Sunday. I’m not an expert but its a nice thing to do in the morning that is not scrolling on social media while I drink my coffee!
