Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I am so excited to have Hayden here from Haute Table sharing her DIY monogram bag! It is so cute and very reasonably priced. Getting ready for spring break? This bag is perfect!
After seeing many of these bags on Instagram and then seeing their price tag, I decided to make my own. It is one of the easiest DIYs I have ever done and it cost the sum total of $25. Follow my steps below for a super cute summer beach tote.
This Target tote bag (similar) was perfect & I got it on sale!
First I printed out & then made a stencil of my monogram using Word.
Then I used spray-mounting glue to adhere the stencil to the bag.
To create the stripes I used masking tape and the filling from the bag to make sure no spray paint accidents happened.
I did the monogram & outside stripes first in pink.
Then after a day of letting the pink paint dry I taped & covered the bag to create the white stripe.
Then I let the white stripe dry for the day before peeling the paper/tape off.
And volia! A {very} economical version of the cutest beach bag for spring break!
Thanks Hayden! I can not wait to try this!
